As a graduate of Pratt Institute, Joshua, based in Queens, has been freelancing as an illustrator and graphic designer for nine years. He is also a professional drummer/percussionist.
Painting, designing, and playing drums/percussion have kept him going in the pursuit of living out his artistic passions. He sees his purpose, in both his art and music, unfolding in New York City, and is pursuing these passions full force.
Joshua’s freelance clients include a number of musicians, singers, and performers across the US and abroad, as well as publications and companies that include the NBA, Blacksmith Management (Manager to Talib Kweli, De La Soul, etc.) and OneWorld Magazine, among others. Currently his paintings are being shown at World Trade Art Gallery, blocks form ground Zero, in downtown manhattan.
Joshua and his mother recently released their first illustrated gift book, "Who Were the Magi?", on Amazon and are currently in the process of finding a publisher, having it translated into different languages for multi-lingual worldwide distribution, as well as researching film production companies to consider it as a motion picture. The book is a winner in the independent publishers contest "Indy Excellence Book Awards".
