You’ll earn points on every review you write and exchange your points for free stuff, discounts, and more (like, “$20 coupon”, “A free coffee” or “A free burrito”). There are also a number of mini-games in the app that you can play with your friends or nearby stores to win more prizes and learn about your neighborhood. 3. How do I get started?

The newest version of the Taap.it app is available for download on the App Store and Android Market. Simply download, install, and create an account for the app.

4. How do I use and taap on the app?

When you open up the app, you will see a news feed of what other people are taaping and the week's leaderboard.  You can also discover merchants near you who have their products listed on Taap.it, and a section that records your activity on Taap.it.

The orange button in the middle that says "Taap.it" allows you to share what you're doing when you press it. Choose from the list near you, or add a completely new item altogether. You will get more points by taking a picture of what you're taaping, rating and reviewing your taap, and sharing your taap on your social media platforms.

Taap.it wants to help you save and share your experiences, so you can in addition to taaping wherever you want.  You can also taap virtually anything you want!

7. Oh no! Where did my Taap.it points on the leaderboard go?

Your Taap.it points reset back to zero every Monday, so that we can give more people a chance to be the top of the leaderboard.

8. What’s the Taap.it points used for?

They could be used for Taap.it contest for real-world prices, or it could be a rewards, discounts, coupon at one of your favorite local restaurant.
